The Anton Dohrn Zoological Station on a project approved by public tender started the construction of two shuttles of 16 and 30 metres in length. The two hulls, made entirely of aluminium, were subjected to checks by the RUP Ing. Macolino, who supervised the correct construction of the shuttles and compliance with the contractual specifications. Studio Zero13 was involved by the RUP in order to verify that the designs met the performance and stability specifications stipulated in the project. Therefore, the declared load exponents were analysed and the hulls were reconstructed from the delivered construction plans. Through the use of dedicated software, the performance of both was then analysed. Finally, the commissioning of the ship PON PRIMA was followed, verifying the correct functioning of the hull and compliance with the contractual specifications.
